Kayt Pearl

Kayt found her way to hands-on healing work while studying writing and performance in college. While taking courses in dance and esoteric movement, she realized there was an innate intelligence in the body that did not require the mind’s participation. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she immediately entered massage school and found the scientific and clinical side of this intelligence while learning the anatomy & physiology of the body.

Enthralled by this connection, she developed the concept of “Intelligent Touch”, which blends 16 years of diverse study and experience into a bodywork approach method. The work is foundationed in clinical knowledge while leveraging the inherent wisdom of the body to heal.

Her tool chest contains a diverse array of healing modalities specific to the physical and fascial anatomy, neuromuscular patterning and proprioception, as well as more than a decade of cross-cultural shamanic and occult studies. Kayt is a Level I certified Fascial Stretch Therapist. She holds a Level II Supreme Science Qi-gong teacher certification, and has undergone the rigorous 200hr. Yoga Teacher Training with Sri Dharma Mittra. Kayt is also a licensed Womanspeak Circle Facilitator, helping women develop more confidence in public speaking through getting in touch with their bodies.

Most often, clients come to Kayt for issues related to chronic pain, injury and injury rehabilitation, stress-reduction, and stress-relief from anxiety related to pain. She specializes in connective tissue release and healing, and integration bodywork for psychedelic-assisted and plant medicine therapies.

She has been a full-time therapist since 2004.

At heart, Kayt is an artist of many forms and beyond the healing arts, she actively pursues her passions of music, singing, poetry and creative writing. She has served as a non-profit community arts director, youth mentor, and teaching artist, as well as being a maker, performer, and vocalist, sharing her work in schools, on tour, and in concerts, workshops and retreat settings throughout the continental U.S, Hawai’i and Nicaragua.

She lives in Puerto Rico with her partner and their dog Bailey.
